Along with everything else happening on campus for Family Weekend, the city of Murray provides ample opportunity to get involved in various physical activities.
Through numerous grants and generous donations, the first of which came by telegram from President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941, the Murray-Calloway County Parks System has been able to expand into three parks. These parks, which cover 165 acres, provide residents and students with several ways to connect with nature, participate in athletics and explore the arts.
