Murray State students, faculty and staff participated in First Lady Jenny Patterson’s cookout and ice cream social as part of Ron Patterson’s inauguration celebration. Patterson is the 15th president of Murray State University. Events on Monday included an ice cream social and cookout, music from Racer Band, music from the commercial music ensemble from the music department and a scavenger hunt. The events continue Tuesday with the investiture ceremony at 11 a.m. in Lovett Auditorium with a reception following in Pogue Library.
