The Student Government Association has announced several vacant positions open for applications.
The positions of RCA president, School of Nursing and Health Professions senator, Clark College senator, Elizabeth College senator, Hart Colleges senators, Hester College senator, Regents College senators, Richmond College senators and Franklin College senator have not been filled.
Applications for these positions can be filled on the SGA page of the Murray State University website, which are due April 10.
Brooklyn Williams, executive vice president, announced that the Campus Activities Board will be holding a paint party on April 9. PaintU will be held on the IM Fields, and will feature a DJ and varying colors of paint to be splashed on the audience, from 8 to 10 p.m.
Williams also revealed CAB will be holding an event on April 17 during the baseball game that day. They will begin giving away Murray State University hats at 5 p.m. Later, they will hold a raffle to win a jersey signed by the Murray State baseball team and their coach.
Don Robertson, vice president of student affairs and enrollment management, urged support for Murray State President Ron Patterson’s presidential inauguration.
“This is a very student oriented president,” Robertson said. “He’s already done things to enhance things for the Wellness Center and other things he’s invested dollars into, so we need to show him support.”
