Advertising Rate Card Fall 2024

There is no other media source more equipped to communicate your message to the Murray State community.
Murray State University includes more than 10,000 students from all over the country and from around the world, as well as two thousand faculty and staff who live and work in the
area.

The print editions of The News are published five times a semester, beginning on August 20, 2024 — the first day of classes. In addition to pickup points across campus and in the community, it will be handed out to students on their way to classes. Additionally, The News is inserted into The Murray
Ledger & Times, allowing advertisers to reach both the Murray and Murray State communities.
But The News travels further: it is always available online (TheNews.org) and on our social media channels (Facebook,X, Instagram and TikTok). Thousands of people regularly view
“the news.org” or follow us on Facebook and check the latest on social media.

We also publish two magazines: Gateway, a glossy feature publication released each spring
that’s available on campus and in the community, and Racer Guide, a newsprint magazine published each year to give incoming students and visitors information about how to
succeed at Murray State.
