Murray State University prepares for students returning to campus while also maintaining COVID-19 restrictions.

Campus life will feel far from normal for returning and incoming students. Before arriving on campus, students must fill out a health questionnaire that will be administered through myGate.

Intramural/Club Sport protocols will follow all established state and federal guidelines in order to maintain the safety and health of all involved.

The Wellness Center has set new hours starting on August 3 until August 14. The facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. The pool will be open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Wellness center will remain closed on Saturday and Sundays.

On August 15, hours will be back to normal semester hours.

The Intramural staff came to a decision to cancel the intramural softball and football seasons. According to Intramural supervisors, there are plans to add sports with less physical contact. For example the following sports might be turned into weekend activities: disc golf, ping pong, and ultimate frisbee.
