Operations to resume over weekend, classes on Monday

Murray State will officially reopen following Winter Storm Fern and its subsequent weather conditions. 

The University will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, with classes to resume at 7:30 a.m., Feb. 2. 

The following facilities and locations are expected to be open over the weekend, according to a campus distributed press release.

  • Winslow Dining Hall, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Fast Track – 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Susan E. Bauernfeind Wellness Center – 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Sunday
  • Waterfield Library – 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. until midnight on Sunday

Chick-Fil-a, Market 22 and the University Store will still remain closed over the weekend.
