The city of Murray is set to hold its primary elections on May 19. Here is who is running and where to vote.
Voters will head to the ballot in less than two weeks for Murray’s primary election. According to the commonwealth’s Secretary of State Michael Adams, 9,839 Kentuckians have registered to vote before the primary, the biggest surge since the month of the 2024 election.
There will be eight voting locations in the county. According to the county election planning report, the CFSB Center will not be available as a location this year, unlike previous years, due to ongoing renovations. Early voting will be held in the courthouse annex at 201 S 4th St., Murray. The voting centers are as follows:
- University Church of Christ
- North Elementary School
- Southwest Elementary School
- Elm Grove Baptist Church
- New Concord Church of Christ
- Hazel Baptist Church
- Kirksey Baptist Church
- Murray High School
The ballot includes both local and state elections. In the local election, candidates are:
