Campus News put out an announcement regarding the vacant provost, vice president of academic affairs position. The email said finalists for the positions are to speak in open forums at Wrather Hall, members of Murray State and the broader community are invited to attend.
Kimberly Paddock-O’Reilly, Chadron State College provost, will be speaking at Wrather Hall on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.
Laurie Couch, Salisbury University provost, will be speaking at Wrather Hall on Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.
Rose Marie Ward, special consult to Marshal University provost and psychology professor, will be speaking at Wrather Hall on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
Alaric Williams, Minot University academic affairs vice president, will be speaking at Wrather Hall on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.
Following each of the town halls, attendees can complete an online questionnaire for Paddock-O’Reilly, Couch, Ward and Williams.
Two of the candidates, Paddock-O’Reilly and Williams, have ties to Ron Patterson, Murray State president, who was formerly the president of Chadron. Williams was formerly a dean of professional studies and applied sciences at the state college.
