Murray State’s spring and summer graduation ceremonies will take place in Racer Arena, according to an email sent out by Murray State officials earlier this week.
This is due to the renovations that will be taking place at the CFSB Center starting in “mid-spring 2026.”
The Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies schedule is as follows:
Friday, May 8, 2026
Racer Arena
- 9:00 a.m. (associate and baccalaureate degree candidates)
- 1:00 p.m. (associate and baccalaureate degree candidates)
Saturday, May 9, 2026
Racer Arena
- 9:00 a.m. (associate and baccalaureate degree candidates)
- 1:00 p.m. (master’s, specialist and doctoral degree candidates)
Students graduating at that time are required to register in mid-February for one of the ceremonies. Each graduate will receive six guest tickets. Due to the smaller venue, each ceremony will have 300 graduates and their ticketed guests. The ceremonies will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
Anyone spring or summer graduate that would prefer to be in a ceremony at the CFSB Center can participate in either the Fall 2025 or Fall 2026 ceremonies. The Fall 2025 takes place on Saturday, Dec. 13, and the Fall 2026 ceremony’s anticipated date is Dec. 12, 2026.
