It took a little longer than normal, but the Murray State men’s basketball team has a full 31 game schedule thanks to Utah Valley and UT Arlington. Both teams officially announced their non-conference schedules on Sept. 24 and helped fill the final two question marks on the schedule for the Racers.
Utah Valley will travel to Murray for a first-ever matchup with the Racers on Nov. 22. UT Arlington and Murray State will play on Nov. 26 in Jacksonville, Florida in a neutral-site game. The game between the Racers and Mavericks will be the second all-time meeting between the teams, the first coming in 1968 when Murray State beat UT Arlington 91-83 in Murray.
Head coach Steve Prohm said in a press conference before the first official practice on Sept. 23 that he was hoping an official schedule would come out from them on Friday, Sept. 28, pending all contracts got finalized.
