Murray State President Ron Patterson announced Paul Twigg will be the University’s next provost and vice president of academic affairs.
Twigg, dean of arts and sciences at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will be assuming the duties of provost at Murray State effective June 1.
In Patterson’s press release, Twigg said he can’t wait to work with the campus community. In Twigg’s words, he’s proud to be joining Murray State.
“I felt at home from the moment I walked onto the campus,” Twigg said. “I can’t wait to begin collaborating with the Murray State faculty, staff, and students, as well as President Patterson, to continue to elevate our programs and their impact in west Kentucky and beyond.”
