Katelyn Young, Murray State women’s basketball’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder, will rejoin the Racers as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
After leading the Racers to the 2024-25 Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships, Young joined the Knox Raiders of the Women’s National Basketball League 1 in Melbourne, Australia. She contributed to the Raiders’ 2025 WNBL National Championship win by scoring 10 points and earning six rebounds in the final game.
The five time all-conference player wrapped up her collegiate career with 3,029 career points, making her the 14th highest scorer in Division I history.
