Murray State Housing released information about single occupancy rooms and the move-in schedule for students on campus for the fall 2020 semester.
Single occupancy rooms are available to all on-campus students on a first-come, first-serve basis. The rooms are available in three residential colleges: Regents, White and Elizabeth. The special rates per semester are $3,225 for Regents, $3,225 for White, and $3,532 for Elizabeth.
The Fall 2020 move-in schedule has also changed. While the first day of classes begin on Aug. 17, housing is allowing students to move in as early as Aug. 10 based upon their preference.
A form to request a single occupancy room and/or to submit move-in time preferences at the bottom of the myGate home page. The housing office is asking students to submit the form by Friday, June 26.
Murray State Housing anticipates a prolonged period of time necessary for processing the single occupancy room requests. All delays considered, the housing office plans to have room assignments and roommate information finalized and communicated to students the week of July 6.
