9:35 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the Stewart Stadium parking lot. A verbal warning was issued for failure to use a proper turn signal.
April 17
10:50 a.m. A caller reported a smoking outlet in Blackburn Science Building. The police, Murray Fire Department, State Fire Marshal’s office and Facilities Management were notified. It was determined the smoke was caused by a faulty surge protector and extension cord.
6:05 p.m. The Murray Police Department reported an emergency medical service call at Roy Stewart Stadium. The police and Student Affairs were notified. The patient was transported.
April 18
9:22 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 16th Street and Ryan Avenue. A citation was issued for disregarding a traffic control device.
7:03 p.m. A caller reported a parking complaint at College Courts. The police were notified and the vehicle was moved.
April 19
2:04 a.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Lee Clark Residential College. The police and Murray Ambulance Service were notified. The patient refused transportation and a report was taken.
3:20 p.m. A caller requested to speak to an on-call nurse. The on-call nurse was notified.
April 20
4:25 p.m. The Central Heating and Cooling Plant reported the smell of gasoline at Lovett Auditorium. The police were notified. The source of the smell was located and removed.
8:23 p.m. A caller reported a drug complaint at Hester residential college. The police were notified and a citation was issued for possession of marijuana.
April 21
8:47 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle collision with no injuries at Blackburn. The police were notified and a report was taken.
9:09 a.m. A caller reported theft of property under $500 at White Residential College. The police were notified and a report was taken for theft.
April 22
1:17 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at College Courts. A citation was issued for speeding and failure to produce and insurance card.
10:25 p.m. A caller reported a physical altercation at Hart Residential College. The police were notified and a criminal report was taken for assault in the fourth degree.

April 16, 10:18 p.m. – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and 16th streets. A person was arrested for fleeing on foot and driving on a suspended drivers license for driving under the influence. The driver was cited for failure to use a turn signal.
