On Jan. 13 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released their nominations for the 2019 Academy Awards. There were several good nominees present, but there were also a handful of unfortunate absences from the lists. Based on a mix of personal preference and word of mouth, here is a compilation of films, actors, actresses and other forms of media that deserved Oscar nominations or honorable mentions.
