Murray State Daniel M. Milam from Memphis Tenn., died in a single vehicle fatality collision that occurred on April 6, at approximately 2:52 p.m. The collision occurred on US 641 north of Hazel, Ky. Milam was pronounced dead on the scene by the Calloway County Coroner. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 1999 Ford Taurus ran off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle overturned before coming to final rest against a tree.
Trooper Brian Duvall is continuing the investigation.
