The Murray Shakespeare Festival returns to campus this week for the 12th year. The festival will include theatrical performances from the American Shakespeare Company, movies, workshops, a dance party and even a flash mob.
“Twelfth Night” and “The Duchess of Malfi” are the two featured performances this year. Tickets for both shows are on sale now. The cost is $5 for Murray State students, faculty and staff with a Racer ID and $10 for the general public. Tickets may be purchased the say of the performances.
The performers of the shows are professional actors in the American Shakespeare Company based in Stanton, Va. This stop is a part of their “Tempt Me Further” tour.
