Four Racers finished in the top 35 out of 63 competitors and the team finished ninth overall at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships on April 13-15 at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Illinois.
Though the Racers ended the first round in eighth place in a field of 12, the team fell to ninth by the final round. The team earned scores of 313-303-311=927, finishing ahead of UIC, Indiana State and Valparaiso, and only three shots behind Southern Illinois.
Switzerland native and freshman Tina Von Arx led the Racers with a 17th place finish and scores of 75-75-78=228. Sophomore Patti Patterson followed with scores of 79-77-76=232.
Senior Eliza Mae Kho, who has played for the Racers since 2019, rounded out her collegiate career placing 32nd and carded scores of 80-74-81=235.
Illinois State earned its second consecutive MVC championship with scores of 290-289-295=874. The team finished 31 strokes ahead of the second place Missouri State.
