The Student Government Association (SGA) election applications are due Monday, Feb 26 at noon.
After the applications close, a candidate meeting will follow that evening. Elections will be held March 12 and 13.
In order to be considered for the ballot, candidates who applied must be present at the meeting on Monday or be represented by a proxy.
“If you don’t have a proxy there or you miss the candidate meeting, you will be disqualified,” said executive vice president Gabe Maynard.
The meetings will provide more information to candidates concerning what methods of campaigning is permitted, as well as instructions on how to receive access to post flyers in campus buildings.
The application can be found online on the SGA Applications tab of the University website, or on the SGA Instagram page @murraystatesga.
