Murray Alcoholic Beverage Control administrator, Kendra Clere issued a fine last week to Friendly Liquor Wine & Beer, according to the Murray Police Department.
Friendly Liquor, which was the first liquor store to open in Murray, was in violation of state and local liquor laws.
Friendly was charged on July 15, with one count of Licensee to purchase from and sell only to persons authorized to sell or purchase. The business chose to pay $1,500 in fines rather than face a 30-day suspension of liquor license.
