Freshman pitcher Karlye Graber started in the circle for the Racers.
On Wednesday March 26, the Racers faced off against the UT Martin Skyhawks in a one game, midweek matchup at Racer Field. The Racers came into the game on a six-game losing streak with their last win being against Bradley on March 14.
Erin Lackey got the ball rolling for the Racers when she scored off a error from the Skyhawks after getting on base with a leadoff single. The Racers would go on to hold the Skyhawks to only one run while extending their lead to four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The rest of the game remained scoreless with Bre Haislip closing out the game for the Racers with a pair of strikeouts in the bottom of the seventh, ending the game.
