On Feb. 4, 2025, the Murray State men’s basketball team hosted the Drake Bulldogs at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. This matchup was the second meeting of the regular season between the two teams, with the Racers beating the Bulldogs 66-59 at the Knapp Center in Des Moines, Iowa on Jan. 5. The Racers scored less than 25 points in the first half for the second straight game, and their second lowest first half total of the season. Despite outscoring Drake in the second half, Murray State fell to the bulldogs 55-45. The loss extended their losing streak to four and makes their record in conference home games 2-4. Murray State looks to avoid a five-game losing streak when they travel to Valparaiso, Indiana, to play the Valparaiso Beacons on Saturday, Feb. 8.
