Wednesday, Nov. 13, through Friday, Nov. 15., the men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the NCAA regionals in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The final event of the season for the Racers.
This event is one of the most competitive during the season. Hundreds of collegiate athletes from the Southeast come together to compete in 6K and 10K courses.
The women’s team competed in the 6K; sophomore Alyssa Moore was the Racers’ top finisher. A standout runner for Murray State throughout the season, she crossed the finish line in 125th place with a time of 22:58.8.
The men’s team competed in a challenging 10K race; freshman Dylan Ellis was the highest finisher for the men’s team, finishing in 171st place with a final time of 33:54.7.
