Into the early hours of Nov. 6, the winner of the presidential race was finally announced.
Donald Trump was officially elected the 47th President of the United States. According to the Associated Press News, the race was confirmed at 4:35 a.m.
As of 4:35 a.m., Trump has received 277 electoral votes and Vice President Kamala Harris received 224 electoral votes. Trump led in both popular votes and electoral votes, with over 70 million in popular votes. Harris received over 65 million popular votes.
Both the Senate and House of Representatives were led with majority votes for the Republican candidate. The Senate led with 51 votes and the House led with 197 votes.
The 60th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Jan. 20, 2025.
