Murray State men’s basketball opened up their 2024-25 season by winning in dominant fashion over the visiting Bethel Wildcats 113-37 on Nov. 4.
Five Racers finished with double-digit scoring games led by senior Kylen Milton, who scored 19 points on 77.8% in his debut in the blue and gold. JaCobi Wood picked up right where we left off last season, scoring 17 points and added two steals. Terence Harcum also made his Murray State debut, totaling 16 points with two assists and rebounds. Justin Morgan also scored 16 points in 18 minutes off the bench. AJ Ferguson finished with 10 points, but added seven assists and rebounds to his stat line.
Every member of the Murray State team saw action against the Wildcats.
The 76-point win was the second largest margin of victory for the Racers since the CFSB Center opened in 1998. The highest came in 2020 when the Racers beat Greenville 173-95.
The Racers will travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to play the University of Pittsburgh on Friday, Nov. 8. The game is set to tipoff at 7 p.m.
