12:45 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on 16th Street. A written warning was issued for having one headlight, not wearing a seat belt and not having a driver’s license in their possession.

7:44 a.m. A caller reported being stuck in an elevator in Faculty Hall. Facilities Management was conducting maintenance on the elevator which caused a minor disruption.

Jan. 16

11:32 a.m. A caller reported an animal complaint off campus.  Murray Police Department was notified.

6:57 p.m. A caller from the intramural fields reported a medical emergency. Officers, Murray Ambulance Services and Student Affairs were notified. The student was transported by Murray Ambulance Services to the hospital.

Jan. 17

12:58 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at North 16th Street and Miller Street because the car did not have a visible license plate displayed.

11:59 p.m. A caller from Elizabeth Residential College reported a medical emergency. Officers and Murray Ambulance Services were notified. The patient refused transport, but a medical report was taken.

Jan. 18

2:37 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Waldrop Drive and Chestnut Street. A written warning was issued for disregarding a stop sign and failure to provide proof of insurance.

7:27 p.m. A general incident report was received from Hester Residential College in reference to unauthorized people in a room.

Jan. 19

8:27 a.m. A caller from Wells Hall requested to speak to the on-call nurse. The on-call nurse was notified.

10:35 a.m. The owner of a recovered bicycle requested to retrieve the property. Officers were notified and the bicycle was returned to the owner.

Jan. 20

2:45 p.m. A caller reported fraudulent credit card activity. Officers were notified and the caller was referred to the law enforcement jurisdiction where the crime was committed.

6:52 p.m. A caller from Hart Residential College reported the smell of marijuana. Officers were notified and a report was taken.

Jan. 21

10:59 a.m. A contractor requested access to the penthouse in White Residential College to complete radio maintenance. Officers were notified.

11:52 a.m. A caller from College Courts reported a sparking outlet. Officers and Facilities Management were notified.
