Last Friday the Racers volleyball team took on the Indiana State Sycamores in their home opener. The first set the Racers commanded the lead with a 10-1 run early, going on to win 25-20. After a back and forth second set, the Racers were able to win 25-22 when a Sycamore blocker missed the block on an Ella Vogel kill. A kill and an ace by outside hitter Federica Nuccio sealed the deal for the Sycamores in set three with a win from the Racers 25-20, sweeping the Sycamores in their first home game of the season.
