On Monday and Tuesday the Racers hosted the Velvet Classic at the Paducah Country Club and placed fifth as a team. The Velvet is hosted in honour of Velvet Milkman, a 2024 Murray State Hall of Fame inductee, who launched the women’s golf program in 1993 and coached the team until retiring in 2022.
