David Looney, executive director for Dining and Auxiliary services, requested for students to respond to an upcoming survey in order to garner feedback and potentially search for new food options on campus.
Looney spoke at the Student Government Association (SGA) meeting on Sept. 11 about an upcoming survey that would be sent out for students to complete online. The purpose of the survey gives an opportunity for students to address criticisms with dining services and for new ideas towards potential changes in food service procedure currently in place.
“We need your voice, we wanna hear what you like and also ask what you don’t like, what can we improve?” Looney said.
The survey will also allow for the option to potentially include new food venues that students would like to see on campus. Tooney said many of the current food options on campus today are because of student feedback.
“We have Mein Bowl today, we have Chick Fil A today because this is the thing students told dining services they want to see,” says Looney. The survey will go out Friday September 13th and through Racer Mail, Posts on the Dining Services Social media and can also be found through several QR codes placed throughout Murray State.
