Senior pitcher Cade Vernon starts on the mound for the Racers on Friday night.

The Racers swept the Valparaiso Beacons in their last home series of the season. With these three wins the Racers move into a 34-18 record and are seeded forth in the conference. The team will head to Peoria, Illinois to play their final series of the season against the Bradley Braves before starting tournament play next week.
