This past weekend the Murray State women’s golf team won the Jan Weaver Invitational for the 12th time with the team winning by seven strokes. Senior Payton Carter won as an individual shooting three under and freshman Ella Scherer won second as an individual shooting one under. The team honored its six seniors: Lauren Gilchrist, Emma Payne, Mckenna Stahl, Payton Carter, Emily Shimkus, and Dylan Elliot after the final round Sunday.
