In response to House Bill 400 moving to the House floor, Sen. Jason Howell, R-Murray, filed a bill to further the University’s plan to build a school of veterinary medicine.
Senate Bill 189, filed Thursday Night, is identical to HB 400. It will allow Murray State to offer “doctor’s degree required for professional practice and licensure in veterinary medicine.”
The bill is awaiting a committee assignment.
