The Murray State gates were damaged Tuesday morning, Jan. 30.
Shawn Touney, executive director of marketing and communication, said the gates at the corner of 15th and Olive Streets were accidentally struck by a contractor’s truck as they were removing a dumpster.

I built this gate when I was with another company. For the past several years I’ve had my own company, J.C.’s Gates and Fab. You can Google it in Gaylesville Alabama. I can’t leave links here. You’ll be able to see photos where I fabricated it. Sad to see it got damaged… It was definitely a lot of work to build.
