This summer, Murray State is kicking off the much-anticipated tour of its Racer Roadshow.
President Bob Jackson, Athletic Director Kevin Saal and Dunker will tour various locations throughout the region, hosting free events for each local area. Faculty, staff and students, including athletes, will make appearances as well.
There will be prizes and giveaways, including a chance for prospective and admitted students to win scholarships. Free hors d’oeuvres will be provided, as well as a cash bar for guests 21 and older.
“We’d like to personally invite you to spend an evening with us at a community near you,” Saal said in a Racer Roadshow YouTube video.
Racer Roadshow began on July 8, when it stopped in Mayfield. There are many upcoming tour locations that provide an opportunity for locals across the region to attend.
On July 9, Racer Roadshow will make an appearance in Hopkinsville from 4 to 6 p.m. and in Madisonville from 7 to 9 p.m. The Hopkinsville stop will be at the Hopkinsville Sportsplex on 155 Tilley Way, and the Madisonville event will be located at Crowded House Restaurant located at 26 W. Center Street.
