The suspect from last night’s report of someone with a weapon on campus was located later in the evening, though police found no weapon on his possession.
Murray State Public Safety received the report at 7:38 p.m. and issued an emergency notice at 8:23 p.m., urging students to stay inside. At 9:38 p.m., students were informed via email the suspect had been identified, located and all normal activities may resume.
