A suspect has been apprehended by Murray city police officers for an armed robbery reported Wednesday night at Campus Evolution Villages North.
Amairi Cook, 19, was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, first-degree theft and unlawful taking of more than $500. Officers are still looking for a second suspect involved in the case.
The robbery occured at 10:51 p.m. Wedesday night at the off-campus apartments. Two black males forcefully entered the apartment, showed residents a handgun and demanded money and valuables from them.
Three of the five people inside received injuries from an altercation, but they denied medical treatment on the scene. One victim received treatment later for injuries. No shots were discharged during the altercation.
