Murray State students will host a focus group at 5:30 p.m. on March 14, to gauge the community’s needs in reference to the Murray-Calloway County Parks system.
The meeting is open to the public and will be at the Calloway County Public Library. The forum will last approximately 45 minutes and refreshments will be available.
The focus group will serve as a learning experience for the students in the Advanced Public Relations class at Murray State.
“We are really excited to give this opportunity to the students,” instructor Robin Orvino said.
Director of Parks Tab Brockman paired with Murray State Advanced Public Relations course to facilitate this focus group. Brockman encourages all members of the community to attend.
“We are looking to do the best possible to serve the community, including the university, and this was best way to serve all publics,” Brockman said.
